No monthly fee. Ever.
Service Residential is free to set up and free to keep. We make money one way: a 1% platform fee on each booking that is paid through Stripe.
The whole price
Two fees, both taken from the payment

Service Residential platform fee
Charged on each booking, as part of the same Stripe payment. No invoice, no monthly bill, no per-seat price, no setup fee.
2.9% + 30¢
Stripe’s card processing fee
Paid to Stripe, not to us, at Stripe’s standard US card rate (checked 2026-10-14). Stripe sets and can change this; see stripe.com/pricing.
All bookings are paid through Stripe. That is how you get paid and how our fee is collected. Payments taken outside Stripe aren’t part of the product; how they’re treated will be set out in the Terms.

A $150 booking
Try your own number too. The sums use Stripe’s card rate above and round to the nearest cent.

Email and text messages
Bring your own, or pay what it costs
Customer emails and texts are not a profit centre.
- If you connect your own email or text provider, you pay that provider directly and we charge nothing for the messages.
- If you don’t, we send for you and pass the sending cost through. Current rates will be listed here before text messaging launches.
- Email confirmations and reminders work today. Text messaging is coming soon.
